Kuji-In – An Advanced Inner Practice
Kuji-In is a traditional practice focused on awareness, attention, and inner alignment. Rooted in historical Japanese traditions, it combines posture, breath, focus, and mental orientation.
Kuji-In in my work
Kuji-In is
not a psychotherapeutic or medical treatment.
In my practice, it serves as a
voluntary, complementary approach for people who are already engaged in inner work and wish to deepen their self-awareness.
Areas of focus
- Inner clarity and mental focus
- Strengthened self-awareness
- Deepened meditative states
- Conscious self-regulation
-
Connection with hypnosis
For some clients, Kuji-In complements hypnotherapeutic work in a meaningful way. Both approaches work with inner orientation, but on different levels.
Participation is always voluntary and clearly defined.
Kuji-in
Kuji-in has a multitude of uses. The most effective being personal transformation. Here you can download a basic tutorial from Maha Vajra, the head of my tradition. While much can be learned from books, videos etc, personal transmission is the most effective and fastest way to learn and gain proficiency.
How can formal instruction in Kuji-in help me?
learning Kuji-in is a step by step process, which, in the early stages takes little time to learn. The hand positions, the mantras, and such are not difficult. They can easily be learned without a teacher.
That being said, our Ego often finds it's way into our practice. A teacher's job is to recognize this, and allow the student to see what is happening. Personal transmission also allows sharing of different experiences.
Through the personal growth aspects of Kuji-in one can enhace personal experiences and abilities as well as gaining an understanding of the world, that goes beyond words and language.
Like hypnosis, it creates that connection to our inner-selves that taps into that part of us that thinks without words or language.
